Released Into the Wild

Well, that’s it!

BLACKFOOT has been released into the wild! You can get your ecopy of the 2nd TWO MONARCHIES book at Amazon, Kobo, iBooks, B&N, or Smashwords.

Happy reading! I’ll now go back into my little writers cave to put the finishing touches on the edits I got back for LADY OF DREAMS…

No recreation reading for me…sigh…

I love your books, Masque most of all. While it obviously happens chronologically after Spindle and Blackfoot (both great as well), it appears to have been written and published first. I’m interested how that came about. Did you conceive of Masque first and then create the others to support it, or what? I read your blog post on Isabelle, so it seems like that may have been what happened. I cannot wait to read the rest of the Two Monarchies series, and I do hope we haven’t heard the last of Isabelle and Lord Pecus.

Ahahaha *coff* totally on purpose *coff*

Actually, I already had the idea for the entire sequence, and Spindle was already written when I wrote Masque–however, Spindle needed a complete rewrite from its original form, and since all of the books can stand alone, I decided to just go with Masque, which WAS ready to go. Also, as I wrote Masque, it sort of fit itself into the sequence naturally with things I knew would happen in the others. As in, it wasn’t originally meant to be part of the sequence, but it just muscled its way in. Typical Isabella, come to think of it…

Kinda stupid to release the last book first–actually, technically the first book of a duology spinoff–but it just worked out that way 😀 There will definitely be more of Isabella and Lord Pecus: I’ll be writing a book for Susan early next year, so that will fit in with Masque. I just have to write the rest of the original sequence first 😀

Oh! and if you haven’t already seen ’em, there are two Masque short stories somewhere on the blog: one is called ‘A Beautiful Hat at a Reasonable Price’, and the other is called ‘A Glitch in the Pattern’. Just search for ’em in the search bar if you haven’t already read them =)
